"Real trial lawyer were like weary foot soldiers or sweatng defensive linemen in afootball-"
The author compares the lawyer as a football team. this is significant because the way that a football team is-they all go to for the ball they are focussed on one thing. once they have their mind set, then they will go for it. The lawyers, once they get a chance to get a case, they go for it. they do't want no one else to take the case from them. The players are soldiers all on mind to get what they want; will try hard and sweat.
Why does the author compare the lawyers and the courtroom to a football team? Is that the only "sport" that he could have of used to compare order?
